Pittsfield, MA – Capitalizing on decades of managerial experience, Teton Management entered the Mobile Home Community (MHC) asset class by purchasing the aptly named Pine MHC.  This property is a verdant, tree-lined, 77-pad community located in Castleton-On-Hudson, New York.

This acquisition fits nicely into Teton’s core business model of purchasing assets at a good price, with opportunities for Teton add value, manage effectively, and deliver outstanding customer service.  Even though this is a new asset class for the Teton portfolio, Pine Haven fits this strategy nicely.

“We pride ourselves on going the extra mile and work diligently to upgrade facilities and add park improvements that increase the value of this property [Pine Haven] and enhance its quiet, family-friendly atmosphere,” said George C. Whaling, Teton’s President and CEO.  “We’re seeing a great response from current tenants and area merchants that acknowledge our efforts and encourage us to move further into this asset class.”
